Mac A to Z has handled all my home computer problems for several years. Ty has an amazing knowledge of all things computer and connected devices. He was able to fix everything that malfunctioned on my old computer, transferred all content to my latest Mac, and continues to handle each emergency as it comes up. As senior citizens, we appreciate his breadth of knowledge and willingness to explain things at a level we can understand. He also presents classes at a Mac club. Ty has gone beyond the call of duty a number of times, most recently warning us of a breach at our IP, responding to my emails and guiding me through the changes necessary, all while he was attending a training conference. A "good shepherd."

This consultant always meets or exceeds my expectations. He is able to explain things so that the layman can understand what is going on in the situation. He is thorough in dealing with an issue. He is very honest and above board. He knows what he is talking about, and if he doesn't, he lets you know up front. He guides you to make decisions which are in the customer's best interest. If he knows of a cheaper, yet better, option, he will suggest you take that option. I have full confidence in his expertise and am willing to recommend him to anyone, especially my daughters.

A quarter century ago I managed one of five satellite Apple franchises in California�s Northbay. During those times the Macintosh SE 30 was the most talked about product, and the Apple II series was on its last leg. This little business survived on computer and software sales while machines for repair and upgrade went to the Mother store in Santa Rosa. Although I could change out a hard drive, add memory..., I was by no means a tech. Nonetheless, its never been difficult to discern a capable technician from the plethora of well meaning amateurs. For the past year I�ve searched for a local, responsible Mac repair shop. (I avoid Apple outlets for the same reasons Ford owners avoid Ford dealerships.) Eventually I happened upon Ty Davidson at MacAtoZ. Ty was familliar with the needs of my aging Macbook Pro and said he could turn it around in an hour, for one hour�s fee. He promptly gets back to me when I leave a message to call me for how to's and what if's. If he cannot contact me immediately, he offers an alternative to look forward to instead of letting me guess when he will be available. He attempts to keep explanations short and to the point, e.g.through screen sharing, and consultation on Apple products to meet my needs. He makes sure that I understand before ending a session or makes arrangements so that I can get back to him for further help. Over the years (since 2006), he has been there for me. I am very satisfied with his work ethic, knowledge, courtesy and punctuality and have already recommended him to others who needed help. I rank him as A+.
