In addition to Matt's superior technical knowledge about all things MAC, the characteristic I most appreciate about Matt is his ability to help me realize and articulate how I use a MAC; then he suggests even better ways, for me, to make me more efficient with my MACs. After working with Matt, I now realize I never really communicated with prior MAC consultants. Matt allows me to keep my own approach while telling me about technical and software advances I did not know about, which allows me to consider them. Matt knows how to communicate!

Matt has been helping me with my Macs, iPhone, and iPad for years. I originally hired him when I was switching my systems from Windows to Mac. I needed someone to transfer my data, help me make good decisions on product purchases, and teach me the subtle differences between the operating systems. Since then, he's helped me create wireless networks, configure local and remote storage systems (including backup routines), sync all of my devices, and even repair a MacBook Pro that was overheating. I think the biggest thing that matters is that Matt listens to what you want to accomplish and then talks about how he can make that happen. He doesn't try to tell you you're wrong or convince you to do things his way. It's nice to finally have someone who's on my side rather than intimidating. Plus, knowing that he usually just works evenings and weekends, I don't feel bad asking him to come over at 8 pm on a Thursday or 6 am on a Sunday.
